Reaching goals whether short term or long term may be achieved through continuous motivation and support. Many clients engage in services for several months before they feel confident to direct diet and lifestyle changes more independently. Accountability may also be an important part of the success story as these behavior changes take root.
Because lifestyle and behavior change usually take time, there are follow up sessions to support and motivate as well as celebrate your steps toward wellness. Review and assessment for changes from previous appointments inform the discussion of any barriers that may be present. At this time, we can address any new concerns, recent test results, or questions you face. A follow-up appointment may vary based on your progress or need.
The initial consultation includes a nutrition assessment. To best gather important data, the client will complete a detailed intake form. This is key information to be finalized before our virtual session. This gives us insight into your social and medical history, current medications, trends, biochemical data, lifestyle, and eating habits. It is important that you have thought about your concerns and goals in working together so that I may help you reach the outcomes you desire.
Nutrition Packages
Often clients will prefer a Nutrition package that includes regularly scheduled virtual follow-up appointments to ensure accountability. This also supports patients in diet and lifestyle changes (such as elimination diet, low FODMAP or other therapeutic diet like a ketogenic plan) and to monitor changes which provides for adjustments along the way, a personalized approach.
